Joining
if you join as a female, you can birth (duh) but you CANT claim a land. Wolf claimence on lands are for males (sorry femme's). If you are claimed or forced to breed, you can NOT refuse UNLESS they are kind enough to ask (that rarely happens mind you).
if you join as a male, you cant birth (why am i saying this?), you can claim lands and you can capture or force breed femme's of your choice. though, don't make it a habit. You can kill a puppy that just happens to venture into your land without permission though if your character is kind enough, you could ask. You can also force femme's to come to your land and become yours.
You can join as a puppy (under 2 years for males, under 2.5 years for females) but you must go and find a place to stay pronto and set yourself up so that you can survive. You can role play. You can also be killed by a male if you go to their territory if you haven't been asked. You cannot claim territories. If your mother is claimed or stolen, you must go with that male as you would not survive. You need a mother. You cannot breed as you are too young, but if you do want to breed go to the Character Profiles and post a new one.
The explanation on how the posting/accepting/denying the profile works is in the Character Profiles board.
NO human applications allowed. This is an animal rpg only.
You can be any colour you want. Yes, wolves in TWB can be blue or pink or yellow or green. It may not be realistic, but RPing is all about fantasy, eh?
Role playing
This is an intermediate/advanced rpg, so all IC posts must be over 200 words.
No chat speak! An example of this would be:
“Kay txted Jen 'nd said 2 him 'how r u doin? What u doin 2night?' ”
I know it would be hard for those who do chat speak, but it just gets irritating sometimes.
I know some of you guys out there aren't really good typers, but for other people, can you use a spell check? There is one in Proboards, Word or Writer or any other text programs out there.
Hekretesia is uninhabited. That means no humans allowed. Some wolves have seen humans, so you are allowed to role play SEEING them, but humans have not colonized Hekretesia so its still untouched. However, some humans have poached wolves so it is natural for them to fear humans.
Either put dialect in [b ] [ /b] or use quotations (“ “).
Examples:
UBBC- I really like you, but I'm Collettorisa. I cannot love an Iluminaela
Quotation- “ I really like you, but I'm a Collettorisa. I cannot love an Iluminaela”
BAD example:
And she said to him I really like you, but I'm a Collettorisa. I cannot love an Iluminaela
No god modding/power playing in General rping. This goes for Battle rping too.

Claiming
You can claim females and Lands only.
However, when claiming lands, because there are only 4 claimable lands you can only claim one. Not per charra, not per account or whatever but only one. Thats because we want to give other users a fair chance of being Alpha. It wouldn't be nice of you had claimed every single one and everyone missed out, would it?
To claim a land the land must be unoccupied and these are the things you need to post for claimence:
. 200 words or more claiming post
. a picture
. A description (. A description is basically for the board info on the main page. Just describe the landscape, adding detail to the picture you found but in words .)
If a pack has been inactive for over 2 weeks you can claim the land. You can also battle for land, though the other male cannot be away.
You can only battle in battle grounds in The Exploration. A land is only inactive if no one has posted for 2 weeks. Even if the male hasn’t posted and the females have you cannot claim the land.
However if a male has not posted for over 2 weeks the land will be back up for claim.
Also only one pack can live in the land, not two.
To claim a female wolf you can either pick them up at any place where they are stray, go to the claimence land or challenge another male for the female, or steal.
A female does not have to come with you if she is in her land, however if you have challenged the other male or won the steal she has to go to your pack.
Battling
There are three types of battling. You can either battle another wolf for the sake of just having a fight (mock), you could be challenging another male for his land or one of his females (wolf). Or there could be a raid and you are fighting with the help of the rest of your type, against the opponent (great).
Before it commences, you must put in a thread:
. How many posts each player does
. How many attacks in each posts
. How many counter attack/defense per post/fight
Once the mods say that you can commence battle, that is when you will start battle.
Considering this, please do not power-play or god-mod.
Power playing is when your post overwrites the next post by the next person, basically you writing it for them. Nobody likes it, and nobody will tolerate it.
God-modding is when your character can do anything they want or choose. This is just not possible. Even immortals is some cases cannot do everything.
The other one I cant think of a name XD. It is when your character is totally unharmable, and anything done to them will not harm or kill them. This is just not so. Even immortals in some cases can be harmed, but not killed physically. They mind can, though, and they can be left what us humans call....a vegetable. Brain-dead.
Anyway,
The player who is most descriptive will win, one of the mods will judge the battle.
Raids/Great Battles
if there is a raid/great battle, every wolf in their pack get together in their meeting lands (or where the King of the Alliance decides), and discusses the battle. The king may even let somebody else lead the fight, but he is usually the one.
Only 1 can lead the team.
The prize for the winning pack and the punishment for the losing pack will be discussed between the four , but within reason of course. Nothing drastic like 'giving up forever' or something. Only small things like females or food etc.
Every great battle is held every summer (will be changed if there isn't enough lands taken/members).
Stealing
For a male to steal a femme, he must post either a riddle or a poem in the stealing board.
For example if a femmes name was spring, for a riddle he might say
'As the daffodils bloom and the sun will shine, who makes the the earth turn that I want to be mine?'...
Riddles can be however long your heart desires.
If he chooses to post a poem, he would have to include the mares whole name on one line of the poem.
An example might be
'I want to be with you in Spring, in Summer, in Autumn and Winter...'.
Poems must be at least 4 lines long.
The Alpha has a week to reply and guess. If he guesses correctly in the time limit, the steal is unsuccessful.
IF, however, he does not guess correctly or misses his chance, the steal has been successful and the female is yours.
That rule (^) is discounted if the Alpha has posted away. Time limit is extended to however long the Alpha is away for.
Alliances
There are four types of Alliances:
Collettorisa
Amorelei
Iluminaela
Saralisagon
The Alpha is allowed to choose the personality of their alliance, like it 'rubs off' onto the other wolves but please make sure they all differ. If they all were Dark-ish or all Light-ish than why is there battles? They would be living in peace.
So, could it be sort of like the four Houses: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. One can have a light-ish personality, the other a neutral-ish, a dark-ish and a mysterious...-ish LOL.
You can be any alliance you wish, but please make their personality fit in with the alliance.
Each Alliance must live in their own lands. So if you are a Amorelei, you have to live in the Amorelei lands UNLESS you have an alliance switch.
King and Queens
Now, this is an unusual bit in the RPG, so let me explain it so its easy for you to understand.
As you know, each pack has their Alpha and Alphess. They are the ones who make the decisions for the pack. When to hunt, who to breed with, who's in and who's out. K/Q is quite similar, but with a higher status, sorta like the Supreme Alpha/Alphess in RiverRush.
Each Alliance has their own King and Queen. They are the ones who decide when to hold a meeting, who to put in the raid and who to take out, how to get better food/water (etc) supplies, and all of the important issues like that.
Their main goal is to ensure that their alliance is in tip top condition to be more powerful than the other. Remember, its one big battlefield to prove who is the best!
The King and Queen are elected in Alliance meetings. When there is no King and Queen to hold the meetings, the Alpha shall decide.
Then, each wolf shall put in a vote as to decide who to be their Alliance King and Queen. Sort of like the prom king and queens in America XD
Voting is a poll, and shall be anonymous as not to betray somebody or anything,
You cannot vote for yourself, and I will be watching the results to figure out if anybody has been voting for themselves.
The male and female with the most votes shall become King and Queen of their alliance. They will then have to maintain their alliance and keep it in balance, and can always abdicate if they wish to not be ruler anymore.
Breeding
There will be a breeding and birthing calendar so you know when you can breed.
Your females CANNOT become pregnant if not in the breeding season.
And definitely no breeding for pleasure out of season. this site is for younger kids too, so please don’t make everything all that graphic.
Remember, wolves are animals. They don't get orgasms or anything when they mate. Its just hop on, do what you have to do and hop off. No huminating their mating!
The breeding season is every winter, and birthing is every spring.
Also, you must be a good player, active and such and meet ALL of the requirements to be accepted to breed.
Out Of Character
No OOC fights, and I mean it! If you are tiffed off at somebody, go to the rant board and talk there. But don't spark an argument with somebody. If you want to let loose at them, do it via MSN or something.
No sex talk please! That includes sex chat, video links, porn links and pictures. If I find ANYTHING rude on this website you will be banned permanently.
No chat speak please, your intermediate/advanced role players, not youngsters.
Advertising only in the advertising board.
What Is Active?
I know everybody has always asked this question. And it differs between rpgs because each person has different viewpoints on what activeness is. So, here is my viewpoint.
You must at least be on once every 5 or 6 days. But due to past experiences, you must at least role play twice every 7 days. I don't like it when people just come on and post in the general board, cause that defeats the purpose of it being a role play game.
These rules are only excused if you POST in the Absent/Leaving saying how long you will be gone.
If you do not post within two weeks, your name will be added to the inactive list.
I will give you another two weeks to get on. If you do get on, you will be taken off the list. If you don't, you character will be put up for adoption and your account deleted.

Consequences
1 offense- warning *30%*
2 offenses- warning *50%*
3 offenses- warning *70*
4 offenses- freeze *5 days*
5 + offenses- ban permanently or temporarily.
