Pack Interactions
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Each pack has their own territory, in which they call home. This territory includes hunting grounds, scenery, dens and also resting places for the pack members. Of course there is more then one pack, so interactions between them are possible. Other wolves may enter another pack's territory: accidentally, with friendly intension's or with a purpose to harm/steal territory from the opposing tribe.
A pack OR a few members can choose to enter another pack’s territory. They do this by posting on the other pack’s message board. Considering the reason they entered, the pack can then deal with the invaders as they see fit. If a battle does start between the two packs, all fighting will be acted out in the Battles board in 'The Exploration', with the Sub-board being 'Wolf'.
ALPHAS MUST AGREE TO ANY BATTLES IF THEY ARE NOT INVOLVED. If an Alpha is involved and loses, they lose their rank as Alpha and lowered to Omega. The winning wolf takes over the status as Alpha and gets the pack.
If a battle between wolves Beta or lower occurs, the Alphas can join in if they want (But remember your risking your Alpha status). If a Beta or lower rank loses a fight to a lone wolf, they give their status to them.
The battle style in which your asked to play is A-A-A. That is 'Approach, Attack, Attack 'confirmation'.' That is basically your character approaches the opponent (either run, walk, bolt etc), they then make the move to attack, and the Confirmation is the ACTUAL attack. Here is the example (in chi-cheat version. You'll have to lengthen it out to 200+ words in your post):
Example #1~ Akari growled at Frost, baring his teeth menacingly. Frost snarled, and the fight began. Akari suddenly ran at Frost, his legs pounding into the ground with tremendous force. Akari suddenly claws out, his claws razor sharp and ready to kill. Frost froze, unable to move. Akari struck Frost on the muzzle.
You must, however, leave the Confirmation till your next post. You must leave your opponent space and time to think whether their character will be able to defend, attack or get attacked. That technique I call D-A-A. 'Defend, Attack/Attacked'. Your opponent can carry on from your post, but in either situation. Lets say from the Defend angle.
Example 2~ Akari growled at Frost, baring his teeth menacingly. Frost snarled, and the fight began. Akari suddenly ran at Frost, his legs pounding into the ground with tremendous force. Akari suddenly claws out, his claws razor sharp and ready to kill. (Opponent 2's post) But Frost was ready. He quickly dodged the attack, snarling viciously. Akari missed and fell, but quickly got back up. The fight still went on.
For an attack to be valid, you must follow the above steps. If the steps are not followed, the battle continues as though you never made that move.
If your character receives 10 direct hits, your enemy can cause a mortal blow to kill your character.
*Please note that in this current plot, once a character is killed they can no longer be rped.
*Also note you can not avoid every blow.
